Adult Advancement Prototype

The Tameside advancement network is part of the Greater Manchester Adult Advancement Prototype. This is a sub regional approach to improving the links between all advice and guidance services which can help people improve their lives. Agencies involved include housing advice, careers and skills advice, and employment advice and libraries services.

This is one of ten prototypes happening across the country which will all inform how the Adult Advancement and Careers Service will be implemented in late 2010. The Adult Advancement and Careers Service will have the responsibility of supporting people of whatever age and status gain access to information and services which will help improve their lives.
